Dark Souls II's Winning Shield Designs Revealed

The official Facebook page of the Dark Souls franchise announced the winners of the Dark Souls shield design contest on Thursday. From Software chose six total designs, two from each of the three different shield shapes. Additionally, fans also chose six designs. All 12 winners will receive a special edition of Dark Souls II
Namco Bandai Games Europe began streaming a behind-the-scenes video on Friday for a previous "Forging a Hero" live-action trailer streamed last week.
From Software revealed Dark Souls II at Spike TV's Video Game Awards in December. The game is a sequel to 2011's Dark Souls action role-playing game for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. From Software had previously developed the Armored Core franchise and Demon's Souls game, for which the Dark Souls games serve as a "spiritual sequel."
From Software will release Dark Souls II on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC platforms as a joint development with Namco Bandai Games. The game will ship in March 2014.
