Voice Actress Ibuki Kido Voices 'COCOROBO' Robot Vacuum

Voice actress Ibuki Kido will lend her voice to Sharp's series of COCOROBO premium robot vacuum. Customers wrote into Sharp about their COCOROBO with requests like "I want to live with robotic electronics that's also a cute little sister," and "I want to enjoy a conversation with my robot appliance and for it to have a charming voice."
Sharp enlisted Kido, who voiced Akiko Himenokōji in OniAi and Chinami Oka in Golden Time to voice the Cocorobo-chan character. The "premium" vacuum's main features include: sounding attractive, being cute, having a unique and cheerful personality (but may answer sullenly when it feels moody), and being a good listener and conversation partner 24-hours a day. Manga artist Kinusa Shimotsuki (Tonari no Kashiwagi-san) designed the character.
Users can apply to be a part of a one month trial and fill out a questionnaire for feedback on Cocorobo-chan.
