Discover the wonders of the universe through along with Ash and friends.

The world of Pokémon is one that holds many unfathomable mysteries, that range from being hidden in the depths of the see to the tops of mountain tops. However, there is one organization that is dedicated to discovering one aspect of the Pokémon world that very few have ever seen. Japanese technology development company, Konica Minolta invites you and your family to join them, as well as Ash and friends, to visit PAXA, the Pokémon Aerospace eXploration Agency, for a look into the depths of space.

Titled "Pokémon XY - The Fragment of the Sky" (Pokémon XY - Sora no Hahen), Konica Minolta will be changing two of their planetariums, "Tenkū" in Tokyo Skytree Town and Ikebukuro's "Manten" in Sunshine City, into the main headquarters for PAXA for this special entertainment and education event of the summer. The first half of the production will consist half of an informational film which will teach attendees about constellations and space observation. After this, participants will be treated to a special Pokémon short in which PAXA takes Ash and company on an adventure to research the possibility of Pokémon life in space. However, when the operation system for a satellite goes out of control, it is up to Ash and friends to save it before it crashes into a massive chunk of space debris.

Since it will be screening in a planetarium, the movie will be displayed using 360-degree panoramic dome projection technology, allowing for a unique watching experience. The trailer on the event's official page even features a surprise appearance from the legendary Pokémon Deoxys.

The event will run from July 19 to September 7 at the "Tenkū" planetarium, and July 12 to August 31 at "Manten". The show will run for a total of 40 minutes and will cost 1,100 yen (about US $10.81) for adults, 500 yen (about US $4.91) for children, 400 yen (about US $3.93) for those under the age of 4, and 900 yen (about US $8.84) for senior citizens.
