Cardfight Vanguard Joins Forces with Self-Defense Force for Limited Edition Card

A popular trading card game is collaborating with the Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force to preview an exclusive expansion.
Cardfight!! Vanguard will team up with the military defense organization to put on the Clan Booster Renha no Shikikan Fight Event in Yokohama on October 17.
"Renha no Shikikan" (or Commander of Torrents) is a new expansion for the game. This new expansion sees dragon and mermaid motifs, introducing the new in-game clan "Aqua Force."
The event will be held in Yokohama at Ōsanbashi Pier. The limited edition card modeled after Maritime Self-Defense Force's Izumo helicopter carrier will be distributed to a limited number of 3,000 attendees. This is meant to commemorate their efforts in peacekeeping by sea.
Cardfight!! Vanguard G GIRS Crisis, the sixth tie-in anime series based on the card game, will premiere on October 11. Daisuki will stream the series as it airs in Japan.
