The Show Goes on for Chiaki Takahashi Despite Foot Injury

Voice actress Chiaki Takahashi snapped the Achilles' tendon in her right foot during concert rehearsals earlier this month. While it appeared Takahashi would be relegated to crutches for three to six months while her injury healed, few expected to her to take to the stage anyway. She vowed to attend the "Earphones vs Aice⁵ ~Sore ga Unit!~ event on Sunday and made good on her word, singing from a comfortable chaise lounge chair with fellow unit members Yui Horie, Akemi Kanda, Masumi Asano, and Madoka Kimura.
Takahashi's numerous voice-acting roles include Azusa Miura in The IDOLM@STER, Mitsuki Hayase in Rumbling Hearts, and Omocchama in the live-action Yatterman movie and anime remake. She also performed theme songs in The IDOLM@STER, Cosplay Complex, Rio - Rainbow Gate!, and We Without Wings - Under the Innocent Sky.
