Wandering Son's Takako Shimura Draws Kukikodan Musical Group

The official website for musical group Kukikodan revealed on Friday that manga creator Takako Shimura is providing an illustration of members for the jacket of their Boku no Kokoro ni Machi ga Dekite album. The album will ship in Japan on May 23.
The illustration features Yukari Yamazaki (vocals), Yoshiyuki Togawa (bass, guitar), and Wataru Kubota (keyboard).
Space Shower Music also began streaming a short music video for the album's song "Utsuroiyuku Machi de" on Friday.
Kukikodan previously performed the opening theme song "Aoi Hana" for the television anime adaptation of Shimura's manga of the same name. The series debuted in 2009.
In addition to Aoi Hana, Shimura is best known for her Wandering Son manga, which received an anime adaptation in 2011. She also drew the original character designs for the Aldnoah.Zero anime.
