Sapporo Snow Festival's Sword Art Online Sculpture Unveiled

The official Sword Art Online twitter account revealed an image on Monday of the sculpture that will be displayed at this year's Sapporo Snow Festival. The sculpture depicts the young versions of Kirito, Eugeo, and Alice from Sword Art Online: Alicization. The tweet states that the statue took approximately a month to sculpt.

The Sword Art Online sculpture is located at the Odori Site's 8th block. The Snow Festival will run from February 4 to 11 at the Odori Site (The Tsudome Site opened earlier on January 31).
The Sword Art Online Snow Festival Twitter account also posted a picture of how the sculpture looks at night time, which certainly has a very different ambiance about it.

A store selling exclusive Snow Festival-themed Sword Art Online goods is also open next to the sculpture and will commence business from 11:00 for every day.
Anime has been a mainstay at the Sapporo Snow Festival for the past few years. This year's festival will also feature a sculpture from Re:Zero in an attempt to replicate the Memory Snow OVA.
