Karen Duffy of Tomodachi Anime announced on fansubber mailing lists last week Bruce's intention to shut down Tomodachi Anime distribution for good, starting February. (Bruce intends to have all of Hime-chan's Ribbon done before then.) He will go back to I'll Make a Habit of It afterwards, which he will then make available to distributors.
The Fansub World and its fansub FAQ's (located at http://www.fansubs.net/fsw/) has been handed over to Chris Gray of Greyarea Anime after maintainer Erik Schultz resigned, siting his lack of available time for proper page updates. Schultz left the fansubs.net group after a decision to put up commerical banner ads to pay for server space.
TechnoGirls announced their completion of the fifth volume of Romeo's Blue Skies, the World Masterpiece Theater TV series with character designs by Hayao Miyazaki. There are only three volumes left in the series.
