LoGH-inspired video gaming?

Namco drawing inspiration from Legend of the Galactic Heroes for Xenosaga sequel.
According to an rpgamer.com post citing comments made by Namco's Hirohide Suguira, the designers of the upcoming (as yet untitled) second installment of the epic Xenosaga videogame series are drawing inspiration from the equally epic anime series Legend of Galactic Heroes (Gingaeiyu Densetsu). The Xenosaga franchise itself is a spinoff of Square's 1998 Xenogears, commonly viewed as having been inspired by the anime Neon Genesis Evangelion.
