Evangelion Death an Rebirth PR & Contest

posted on by Christopher Macdonald
Evangelion: Death and Rebirth to premier on Sputnik 7.

Manga Entertainments upcoming (and very late) release of Evangelion: Death and Rebirth (followed by End of Evangelion later in the year) has probably been one of the most anticipated Anime releases in ages.

Death and Rebirth will premier online, streaming from Sputnik 7, on July 30th; the same day it is released to stores.

A portion of their recent PR covers the upcoming release, along with a mention of an Evangelion contest taking place at Manga's website.

Will Shinji and Rei ever get together? Unfortunately, they've got a few other things to worry about...like saving the world from Angels for one.

The anxiously awaited DVD release of Evangelion: Death and Rebirth comes out on July 30. In conjunction with the DVD release on July 30th, there'll be an exclusive streaming of Evangelion: Death and Rebirth on sputnik7.com. Stay tuned for details.

Finally, for us in the states, we get a translation with the usual dub. Of course, for proper otaku viewing, there's the original Japanese track with subtitles. Even with the translation, those not familiar with the series may get a little lost. Fear not! There's a 'Mokuji Interactive feature' which allows you to access key definitions to references from the series. Overall, they did a great job on the transfer of this one to DVD. Looks good, sounds good, definitely a must have for any Eva fan. Watch for End of Evangelion September 24th. For more info go to, http://www.deathandrebirth.com.
