New Guests for AXNY

Noboru Ishiguro, who has already been to Anime Expo several times, will be present at this years Anime Expo New York. Ishiguro is best known as the director of such series as Macross, Space Cruiser Yamato, Legend of the Galactic Heroes and many more.
Ishiguro will be AXNY's "Director Guest of Honor."
Along with several other guests of honor at AXNY, Atsushi Takeuchi will be making his first appearance at an American Anime convention. Takeuchi is Production I.G's top mecha designer and has produced the mecha designs for Anime such as Ghost in the Shell, Sakura Taisen and Tenchi Muyo!. Takeuchi has also directed a number of items including Yuki Kaze and has worked as production designer and key animatior on a number of Anime.
Takeuchi will be AXNY's "Mecha Designer Guest of Honor."
Ishiguro and Takeuchi will be joining Takao Koyama, Mayumi Tanaka, Yoshiyuki Tomino, Tarō Maki and Akitarō Daichi at AXNY.
