Yu-Gi-Oh!, Dragonball and Anime are tops

Lycos's Top 10 Fads of the year include Yu-Gi-Oh!, Zoids and Beyblade. Dragon Ball tops searches for 2nd year.
Despite a ten percent decline in the number of searches on Lycos for Dragon Ball in 2002 as compared to 2001, Dragon Ball became the first ever topic to spend two years as Lycos's "Web's Most Wanted." Dragon Ball spent 13 weeks as the year's most popular search, versus 25 in 2001.
The only other Anime related items in Lycos's top 100 of 2002 were Yu-Gi-Oh! in 32nd spot and Pokémon in 41st, down from 7th spot in 2001.
Meanwhile, in Lycos's list of the top fads of 2002, Yu-Gi-Oh! placed first, followed by Zoids in 2nd spot and Beyblade in 7th.
