Parasite Dolls at BAAF

The Big Apple Anime Festival has announced that Parasite Dolls, the Bubblegum Crisis / AD Police spin-off will have it's East Coast Premiere at BAAF 2003. Parasite Dolls' North American Premiere was at the Los Angeles Anime Festival on May 4^th.

The Big Apple Anime Fest (BAAF) proudly announces that Parasite Dolls, from IMAGICA Entertainment, will have its special East Coast Premiere at the Big Apple Anime Fest 2003, taking place this Labor Day Weekend in Times Square, New York City (August 29 to 31, 2003).

Directed by Mr. Kazuto Nakazawa and Mr. Naoyuki Yoshinaga, Parasite Dolls is a trilogy set in Tokyo, A.D. 2034, where "artifactual ‘sub-humans’" or "Boomers", are developed, manufactured and designated to fulfill specific purposes, and to live symbiotically with humans. But there are many people with evil intentions, who desire to use them for criminal ends, such as terrorism crime and prostitution. To maintain control over such misused Boomers, a high mobility, anti-terrorism team-- the AD Police-- organize a special unit called "Branch". Each episode involves Branch, featuring the many adventures this alternative unit of AD Police, which tries to bring human desires reconcile relief sexually and psychologically through Boomers.
