Tech TV Staff Laid Off

San Francisco Operation closing

According to the Laporte Repoprt, G4, which recently acquired TechTV, will be closing the San Francisco base of operations and moving TechTV operation to Los Angeles. As a result of the closing, all Tech TV staff have been given their 60 days notice, 100 of the existing jobs will be transferred to LA and will be posted for those willing to relocate to LA.

According to the original merger press release though, Anime Unleashed will continue to air on TechTV. Otherwise there is no word on which shows G4 will keep or which hosts will be kept on.

Anime Unleashed currently airs Silent Möbius, Geneshaft, Serial Experiment Lain and Betterman.
