Mamoru Oshii's Tachigui Film Runs on AZN TV October 25

The AZN TV network announced it will premiere Tachigui: The Amazing Lives of the Fast Food Grifters, the 2006 hybrid live-action/animation film from acclaimed director Mamoru Oshii (Ghost in the Shell movies, Urusei Yatsura series), on October 25 at 7:00 p.m. ET and later that evening at midnight. The film stars director Kenji Kamiyama (Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex), composer Kenji Kawai (Ghost in the Shell), creator Shōji Kawamori (Macross), producer Toshio Suzuki (Studio Ghibli), and other colleagues of Oshii — in front of the camera — as quirky iconoclasts who flaunt society's rules and freeload off fast-food vendors.
