PMX Hosts Seiyū Yukana, Claymore's Director & Designer

Pacific Media Expo has announced that voice actress and singer Yukana, director Hiroyuki Tanaka, and character designer Takahiro Umehara will appear at the November 9-11 convention at the Hilton Los Angeles Airport in California. Yukana's many roles have included Card Captor Sakura's Meilin, Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion's C.C., My-HiME's Mashiro, and Wedding Peach's Yuri. Beyond her acting career, she recorded the theme songs for several anime including My-Otome, My-Otome Zwei, and Wedding Peach. Yukana started her career under her birth name Yukana Nogami, but she later shortened her stage name to just Yukana.
Tanaka directed the Claymore anime after working as assistant or animation director on the Cardcaptor Sakura movie 2: The Sealed Card movie, the Mermaid's Scar video, the Ninja Scroll television series and several other works. Tanaka also directed selected episodes of Card Captor Sakura, Chobits, and The Gokusen.
Umehara worked under Tanaka on Claymore's production as its character designer, after doing the same for Akagi, Beyblade, and Tenjho Tenge. He previously did key animation for Street Fighter II: The Movie, Street Fighter II V, and Cardcaptor Sakura: The Movie. He had appeared at A-Kon 2005 and Nan Desu Kan 2006.
The three new Japanese guests joined the previously announced ones: voice actor Kenjiro Tsuda, lolita fashion designers Asuka and Maki of Angelic Pretty, and rock band LiN CLOVER.
