Eva:1.0, L, Afro Samurai to Run in German Film Fest

Fantasy Filmfest to travel to eight cities from August 12 to September 10
Two anime films and a live-action spinoff of a popular manga will be screened in the Focus Asia program of Germany's Fantasy Filmfest, a month-long celebration of science fiction, fantasy, and supernatural movies that is set to run from August 12 to September 10. Evangelion: 1.0 You Are [Not] Alone, the director's cut version of Afro Samurai, and the Death Note spin-off L change the WorLd will all have screenings in Berlin, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Munich and four other cities during the course of the festival.
After its September 2007 Japanese opening, the new Evangelion movie traveled to film festivals in Pusan, South Korea; Seattle, Washington; and Annecy, France. It has also began screening at anime conventions like last month's Anime Expo.
