Media Blasters Announces Amaenaideyo!! DVD Release

The North American distributor Media Blasters has issued its solicitation for the January 27 release of the first DVD of Ah My Buddha, and thus effectively announced that it has licensed Amaenaide yo!! anime under that title. Media Blasters has also formally confirmed that it will release the Doujin Work anime on that date, and that its Kitty Media adult anime label will release Cleavage and Teacher's Pet in January as well. (Teacher's Pet was once released by Central Park Media's Anime 18 label for adult anime.)
Amaenaide yo!! adapts Toshinori Sogabe and Bohemian K's ecchi comedy manga about a 16-year-old monk-in-training named Ikko Satonaka at a Buddhist temple. The temple happens to be populated by many priestesses-in-training, and when he see a girl naked, he turns into a powerful exorcising monk. The anime features Rayearth OAV and School Days director Keitaro Motonaga and series script supervisor Makoto Uezu (School Days, Seto no Hanayome, Utawarerumono). Studio DEEN animated the project.
