2nd Tamagotchi Feature Film's Full Trailer Streamed

The official Japanese website for the animated film adaptations of Bandai's Tamagotchi! virtual pets began streaming a full trailer for the second feature film, Eiga! Tamagotchi Uchū Ichi Happy na Monogatari!?, on Tuesday. There is also a short video in the site's main page and a teaser trailer that was already released in July. The film will introduce the new characters Hapihapitchi and Kikitchi and tell an adventure set in an another world. The story begins when the main character Mametchi and his friends discover a mysterious book in their school's levitating library.
The second film will open in Japan on December 20. The Anime TV de Hakken! Tamagotchi television series and the Tamagotchi Honto no Hanashi theatrical short ran during the height of the original Tamagotchi! fad in 1997. The first full-length feature, Eiga de Tōjō! Tamagotchi Doki Doki! Uchū no Maigotchi!?, opened on December 15 of last year, and Bandai Entertainment announced last May that it had licensed the first film for North Amercia.
