Dragon Drive creator draws 4-panel manga; Kenshin's Watsuki restarts Embalming

The December issue (released on November 4) of Shueisha's Jump Square magazine has confirmed that Dragon Drive manga and anime creator Ken-ichi Sakura is drawing Hōkago no Ōji-sama (The Prince of Afterschool), the four-panel "tribute" manga to Takeshi Konomi's The Prince of Tennis sports manga (pictured at right). In addition, Jump Square has confirmed that Takeshi Konomi will develop a new regular series for The Prince of Tennis starting in its April issue (on sale on March 4). Konomi ended the original manga series in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine last March after almost nine years and 379 installments.

Jump Square's December issue also announced that Rurouni Kenshin creator Nobuhiro Watsuki is starting a new chapter in his Embalming - The Another Tale of Frankenstein manga. Watsuki just started the manga last November in Jump Square's premiere issue.
