Mayu Shinjo to Continue Ayakashi Koi Emaki Manga

Mayu Shinjo, the manga creator of Sensual Phrase (Kaikan Phrase) and Love Celeb, will continue her Ayakashi Koi Emaki (The Ghost Love Story Picture Scroll) manga in next year's third issue of Shueisha's Margaret magazine on January 5. The current issue of Margaret announced the relaunch on Friday and then Shinjo confirmed the news on her personal blog on Saturday. The story begins when Mieko, a girl training to be a miko (shrine maiden), has to perform an exorcism on a chō-ikemen (super handsome male).
Shinjo is drawing 60 pages in the January 5 issue, and then 60 more pages in the January 20 issue. The first Ayakashi Koi Emaki story ran as a two-part miniseries in the same magazine from July to August. She also did work in Shueisha's Bessatsu Margaret and Kadokawa Shoten's Monthly Asuka magazines, after a much-publicized exit from Shogakukan's Shoujo Comic magazine last year.
Another artist, Sakura Misaka, is launching a new manga called Kuro no Seishun (Black Adolescence) in Margaret on January 5 as well. The story centers around a girl smitten by a chō-ikemen cheerleader.
