Kazune Kawahara, Aiji Yamakawa to release unnamed work in March

The March issue of Shueisha's Deluxe Margaret magazine has announced on Wednesday that High School Debut creator Kazune Kawahara and Chocolate Underground artist Aiji Yamakawa are working together on an unnamed manga. The "dream collaboration" will appear in the May issue, which will ship on March 28.

In the same issue, Ayane Ukyo (BxB Brothers, Yokujō Climax) will appear in the magazine for the first time to debut a "sexy, cute story" titled Mitaiken Desu ga Nanika? (upper left corner of image). Shiori Furukawa (Five) is launching a new series called Grape Pine (lower right corner of image). Masami Nagata (Renai Catalogue) is creating a one-shot martial arts romance manga under the name Aijō Ippon!! (lower left corner of image).

Kawahara ended her High School Debut manga last July after five years. She has since launched her Aozora Yell (Yell for the Blue Sky) high school band manga in August and drawn a one-shot Enkoi Debut (Eternal Love Debut) follow-up manga to High School Debut this month. Viz Media published the seventh volume of High School Debut in North America this month. Yamakawa launched her Chocolate Underground manga adaptation of Alex Shearer's Bootleg novel last January, and the manga ran until June.
