Baton Animation by Azumi's Kitamura Posts New Trailer

The official website for the Baton animated film is streaming a new 72-second trailer which contains more footage than the first trailer. The film is running exclusively during the 150th anniversary celebration of the Japanese city of Yokohama from April 28 to September 27. Director Ryuhei Kitamura (Azumi, Versus, Godzilla: Final Wars) and producer Shunji Iwai oversaw this project with Notorious Films, Rockwell Eyes Production, Tsuburaya Productions (Ultraman), and Wild Boar Media — the development studio co-founded by former GDH International vice-president Eric Calderon (Afro Samurai). The actual animation was supervised by Mark Brooks and produced at Studio Titmouse in the United States. Hayato Ichihara and Aya Ueto play the main characters.
