Supanova Sydney starts today!

Starting today the veritable cavalcade of fandom that is Supanova returns to Sydney with even more guests and even more entertainment. While you'll find something their for every kind of geek, the long-time anime fans are going to be especially delighted with the inclusion of two Anime voice-acting gods, Spike Spencer (Shinji in Neon Genesis Evangelion) and Christopher Sabat (Vegeta, Piccolo and many others characters in Dragon Ball Z).

You like cosplay? Well they've got you covered with multiple cosplays events being held across the weekend. Both the Madman Cosplay Competition and the Madman National Cosplay Championships as well as Cosplay Chess! Most of these events are taking place in the Madman Anime Theatre where at other times you'll be able to see screenings of Aquarion, Gurren Lagann, D-Gray Man and Baccano! just to name a few. If you're attending on Sunday be sure not to miss the Madman Panel where you'll be able to catch some trailers of soon to be released anime as well as ask when Madman is going to be releasing more Gundam.
