Koike, Madhouse's Redline Car-Racing Video Clip Posted

1st feature from Animatrix's Takeshi Koike held its world premiere at Locarno
The website of the recently concluded Locarno International Film Festival posted a 63-second video clip from Takeshi Koike and Madhouse's Redline car-racing anime film. (In the linked page, select the "Extra" menu item.) The story follows the intertwined journeys of competitors in the deadliest car-racing game in the world. The film held its world premiere at the Swiss festival after being delayed from the earlier Annecy festival in France.
Koike is best known for directing the "World Record" short in The Animatrix anthology. He also directed the Trava video and served as a key animator on Dead Leaves, Samurai Champloo, and Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust.
