Kodocha's Obana Ends 1-Year Hiatus on Honey Bitter Manga

Miho Obana, the manga creator of Kodocha, is resuming her Honey Bitter romance mystery manga after a one-year hiatus in the January issue of Shueisha's Cookie magazine on November 26. In 2004, Obana launched her Honey Bitter manga about a girl who sees premonitions and works at her aunt's private investigation agency. However, due to Obana's pregnancy and worsening tendonitis, the manga has been frequently on hiatus since then. The most recent hiatus began in November of 2008. Bitō Lolipop creator Rikako Iketani is launching her Six Half manga about a 17-year-old girl who has a sudden and complete memory loss in Cookie's December issue on Monday. The December issue of Hakusensha's Monthly Bessatsu Hana to Yume magazine has announced that Please Save My Earth creator Saki Hiwatari is resuming her Boku o Tsutsumu Tsuki no Hikari - Boku Tama Jisedai-hen manga in the next issue on November 26. This manga takes place years after the events of Please Save My Earth and follows the son of two of the earlier manga's protagonists. The next issue of Monthly Bessatsu Hana to Yume also marks the return of Touring Express Euro by Karin creator Masumi Kawasou. Viz Media released the Please Save My Earth manga and its anime adaptation.
