Charity Eva 1.0 Showing in NY, Metropolis in DC

The RIT Anime Club is holding a charity screening of Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone (Evangelion Shin Gekijōban: Jo) in Rochester, New York on November 14. The film is the first film in Hideaki Anno's four-part theatrical remake of Gainax's Neon Genesis Evangelion anime series. All proceeds from this event will be going to charity for Golisano Children's Hospital.
The DC Anime Club is screening Rintarō's 2001 anime film adaptation of Osamu Tezuka's Metropolis manga for free in Washington, D.C. on November 18.
