Japan's Animation Blu-ray Disc Ranking, February 22-28

The Oricon survey firm reports that the fifth volume of the Bakemonogatari anime series topped the weekly Blu-ray Disc chart with 46,000 copies in its first week. The fifth Bakemonogatari volume trails only the fourth volume (48,000 copies) and the Evangelion 1.11: You Are (Not) Alone film (49,000 copies) as the top-selling anime Blu-ray release in the first week of sales.

The standard edition of Yukihiko Tsutsumi's third live-action film based on Naoki Urasawa's 20th Century Boys suspense manga debuted on #5, while the 20th Century Boys BD Set debuted at #10. The Animelo Summer Live 2009 RE:BRIDGE 8.23 concert DVD landed at #7, while the 8.22 counterpart landed at #11.
