Japan's Animation TV Ranking, April 19-25

GeGeGe no Nyōbō (Spooky Wife), the live-action television drama adaptation of an autobiographical essay book by GeGeGe no Kitarō author Shigeru Mizuki's wife Nunoe Mura, ran on April 23 at 8:00 a.m. with a 17.4 rating. The live-action television adaptation based on Fujiko Fujio A's Kaibutsu-kun manga series aired on April 24 at 9:02 p.m. with a 15.6 rating.
The live-action version of Miki Yoshikawa's Yankee-kun to Megane-chan school comedy manga premiered on April 23 at 10:00 p.m. and garnered a 13.6 rating. The live-action sequel Ijiwaru Baasan 2 aired on the same day at 9:00 p.m. with a 13.3 rating. Takashi Miike's live-action film version of Tatsunoko Productions' Yatterman anime also ran on that day at 9:00 p.m. with a 11.0 rating.
