Live-action GeGeGe no Nyōbō film's trailer also streamed

The official website of Saki Hasemi and Kentarō Yabuki's To Love-Ru -Trouble- manga and anime franchise has begun streaming the second promotional video for the upcoming Motto To Love-Ru -Trouble- television sequel series on Thursday. The new video features the "Loop-the-loop" opening theme song by KOTOKO. The new anime will premiere on Tokyo MX and other stations in Japan in October. As previously revealed, Atsushi Ootsuki (Kanokon: Manatsu no Daishanikusai, Ladies versus Butlers!) is directing the animators at XEBEC. Yasunori Yamada (Charger Girl Ju-den Chan, Venus Versus Virus) is supervising the scripts written by himself, Tomoyasu Okubo (Azumanga Daioh, Charger Girl Ju-den Chan), Tsuyoshi Tamai (Ladies versus Butlers!, Strike Witches), and Noboru Kimura (Dan Doh!!, Doki Doki School Hours). Yūichi Oka is returning from the previous To Love-Ru television and video series to design the characters and oversee the animation. However, Aki Toyosaki will take over the voice role of Peka from Satomi Arai.

TV Tokyo's website for Pocket Monsters: Best Wishes! — the next Pokémon television anime series after the current Pokémon - Diamond and Pearl — has begun streaming four new five-second television commercials on Thursday. The commercials feature the Pokémon characters Mamepato, Minezumi, Koromori, and Kibago. The story is set in a land called Isshu where a new journey will unfold. The Nintendo game company had already revealed that it will ship a new series of Pokémon: Black and Pokémon: White games for the Nintendo DS consoles in Japan this fall, and the new anime will also launch this fall after Diamond and Pearl ends.

The Yahoo! Japan website is streaming the first nine minutes from the live-action film adaptation of the GeGeGe no Nyōbō (Spooky Wife) essay book. The official YouTube channel for film is also streaming a 123-second trailer. Nunoe Mura, the wife of GeGeGe no Kitarō horror manga author Shigeru Mizuki, published the original 2008 book about their years together. Mizuki, whose real name is Shigeru Mura, was a veteran who lost his left arm in World War II. Five days after meeting for the first time in an omiai (traditional Japanese ceremony for betrothal) in 1961, 39-year-old Shigeru and 29-year-old Nunoe were married. Actor and screenwriter Takuji Suzuki is directing the film with Kazue Fukiishi and Kankurō Kudō replacing the television adaptation's Nao Matsushita and Osamu Mukai as the married couple. The film will open in Japan on November 20.
