Gosick, Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? in January; Love Live!'s 2nd single next month

The Japanese company Kadokawa Shoten began streaming 101 seconds of early promotional footage from the Gosick anime on the YouTube website on Tuesday. The anime adapts Kazuki Sakuraba's Gosick mystery novel series, in which Kazuya Kujo studies abroad at the Saint Marguerite Academy in a small European country in 1924. Kazuya joins forces with Victorique, a girl with deductive powers that rival Sherlock Holmes', to solve mysteries. The anime will premiere in Japan on January 7, 2011.

Kadokawa Shoten's website for the Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? television anime series has also begun streaming 107 seconds of the earliest public footage off its YouTube channel. The anime will premiere in Japan on January 10.

In Shinichi Kimura's original light novel series, a lazy high school boy named Ayumu Aikawa gets killed during a spate of mysterious serial killings. However, Ayumu is resurrected as a zombie by a necromancer girl named "Yū" (Eucliwood Hellscythe), who Ayumu had just met before dying. Ayumu reawakens in a world surrounded by "masō shōjo" (magically equipped girls) and vampire ninja. Ayumu is assigned the duties of a masō shōjo by a magical warrior girl named Haruna.

Bandai Visual's Lantis label and the publisher ASCII Media Works began streaming a 110-second "short" promotional video for the Love Live! project's second song, "Snow halation," on its YouTube channel. The school idol project comes from the anime studio Sunrise, Lantis, and ASCII Media Works' Dengeki G's Magazine. The song's CD single will ship in Japan on December 22 with the full music video animated by Sunrise.
