Top-Selling Animation DVDs in Japan: 2010

Rookies ~Sotsugyō- (Rookies: Graduation), the live-action feature film finale to the television series based on Masanori Morita's Rookies manga, landed at #41 with 80,648 copies sold. Another live-action manga-based film, Gokusen the Movie, sold 73,761 copies to rank at #50. The #1 DVD in Japan of 2010 was Michael Jackson's This Is It Deluxe Collector's Edition with 802,656 copies sold.
Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli's My Neighbor Totoro sold over 1 million DVD copies in Japan as of this past May.
