1st 2 episodes scheduled for Monday, January 24 at 10:30 a.m. EST

The North American anime distributor Funimation has announced that it will simulcast the television anime Freezing starting on Monday, January 24 at 10:30 a.m. EST. At that time, Funimation's video site will stream the first two episodes, and a new episode will be added each week. Episodes will also be available on Funimation's streaming partners such as Hulu one week after their Japanese broadcast.

The Freezing anime adapts Lim Dal-Young and Kim Kwang-Hyun's manga of the same name and revolves around Kazuya, a boy who lost his sister in humankind's fight against beings from another dimension. He enrolls in Genetics, a military academy for combat training against the dimensional beings. There, a group of girls known as "Pandora" prepare to fight the unknown enemy. The adaptation was announced last August and premiered on January 8 on Japan's AT-X network. Studio A.C.G.T. is handling the animation, with Takashi Watanabe (Boogiepop Phantom, Slayers) directing.
