The official website of A-1 Pictures' Blue Exorcist (Ao no Exorcist) television anime series began streaming the anime's two latest television commercials on Sunday. The anime adapts Kazue Katō's Blue Exorcist manga about Rin Okumura (Nobuhiko Okamoto), a boy raised by a famous exorcist named Father Fujimoto (Keiji Fujiwara). Rin discovers he is the son of Satan, and he joins the True Cross Academy to become an exorcist. Tensai Okamura (Darker than Black, Wolf's Rain, Kikaider) is directing off scripts supervised by Ryota Yamaguchi (Cutey Honey Flash, Digimon: Data Squad, Sailor Moon Sailor Stars). The anime will premiere this April.

The North American anime distributor Funimation posted a teaser to promote the company's March 29 release of Evangelion: 2.22 You Can (Not) Advance. As with the Evangelion: 1.0 theatrical release and its Evangelion: 1.11 DVD/Blu-ray Disc release, Evangelion: 2.22 features an extended director's cut of the Evangelion: 2.0 theatrical film, as well as bonus features. The DVD's suggested retail price is US$29.98; the Blu-ray's is US$34.98.

Bandai Entertainment has also launched an English-dubbed trailer for its North American DVD and Blu-ray release of the television anime K-ON! on Friday. Although the trailer does not cite a specific release date, Bandai's store lists both releases for April 26. The DVD's suggested retail price is US$29.98, and the Blu-ray's is US$34.98.

Aniplex of America began streaming a blooper video for its English dub of the Durarara!! anime on January 18. The first DVD set of the North American release shipped on Tuesday.
