SMASH Opens Bandai Model Kit World Cup 2011 Entries

The Australian national finals for the Bandai Model Kit World Cup have publicized their rules and opened for applications.

The Sydney Manga and Anime Show (SMASH!) has released the details and rules for the Australian nationals of Bandai Model Kit World Cup 2011 (formerly BAKUC). Bandai aims to showcase the skills and talents of Gundam modelers around the world in this competition, with entrants from Japan, China, Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia, Italy, USA, Thailand, Hong Kong, South Korea, and Malaysia.

The first place winners of both the Open category (15 years old and above) and the Junior category (Under 14's) will receive a return trip (2 nights and 3 days) to Hong Kong, representing Australia at the 2011 Bandai World Cup Finals.

Registration closes on the 1st of July. Rules for entrants are available here and applications can be submitted on SMASH's events website.
