Horizon, No. 6, Sengoku Basara, Naruto Promos Streamed

Bandai's Lantis label began streaming a four-minute promotional video for Manabu Ono and Sunrise's Kyōkai Senjō no Horizon (Horizon on the Middle of Nowhere) anime on the Bandai Channel, Nico Nico Douga, and YouTube websites on Saturday. Minoru Kawakami's school fantasy light novel series is set in a distant future when Japan is divided into feudal territories and conquered by other countries. There is a floating city named Musashi that is composed of eight ships in the skies. A war that will determine the fate of the world will be fought by students on the Musashi. The anime will premiere in October.

The official website for Kenji Nagasaki and Bones' No. 6 television anime series relaunched with a streaming trailer on Sunday. Atsuko Asano's original novel series is set in "No. 6," a future model city in 2013. Raised as a top-ranking elite since the age of 2, a boy named Shion once lived in an exclusive area in No. 6. On the night of his 12th birthday, he rescued "Nezumi" ("Rat"), a boy who ran away from the city's Special Security Area. From that moment on, Shion's life was changed forever. The anime will premiere in July.

The film distributor Shochiku posted a 30-second trailer and a 60-second trailer on its Yahoo! Japan channel. The film based on CAPCOM's videogame franchise and television anime series will open in Japan on June 4.

TV Tokyo has updated the official Naruto movie website to reflect the franchise's eighth anime feature film, Naruto Shippūden: Blood Prison. The company has also launched a page for the movie which includes a 30-second streaming trailer for the film.

Masahiko Murata will direct the film, with Akira Higashiyama writing the script. Tetsuya Nishio, Hirofumi Suzuki, Hiroyuki Yamashita, and Koji Yabuno are listed as character designers, while Yasuharu Takanashi and -yaiba- will compose the film's music. The film will open in theaters in Japan on July 30.

Japanese film website Cinema Today posted a trailer for the upcoming live-action adaptation of Ai Yazawa's manga Paradise Kiss on March 28. The manga was previously adapted by Studio Madhouse adapted into a television anime in 2005. The story follows a high school student named Yukari Hayasaka who is discovered by "Paradise Kiss," a group of up-and-coming fashion school students including Joji "George" Koizumi. The students transform Yukari (now nicknamed "Caroline") into a fashion model, and she discovers a new passion for a future career and potential romance in her personal life.

Keiko Kitagawa, the live-action Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon series' Sailor Mars, plays Hayasaka, while Osamu Mukai (live-action Honey and Clover's Takumi Mayama portrays Koizumi. The film is scheduled for a June 4 theatrical release in Japan.
