Level-5 Files U.S. Trademark for Little Battlers Franchise

posted on by Andrew Osmond
Trademark covers games, anime, manga, models

The games company Level-5 (Dragon Quest VIII, Professor Layton, Inazuma Eleven) filed for a trademark for the "Little Battlers eXperience," covering its Little Battlers (Danbōru Senki) franchise, in the United States on July 21. The trademark covers the videogame, animation, plastic models, comic books, and other related merchandise.

The original game is a "near-future, plastic-model-building role-playing game." The player controls tiny battle robots called LBX (Little Battler eXperience) as they battle it out in dioramas built from reinforced cardboard. The anime version premiered on TV Tokyo last March.
