Anime on Demand To Screen Mirai Nikki

Anime on Demand has announced that its first license of the new season will be Mirai Nikki, the anime adapted from the manga Future Diary by Sakae Esuno.
In the original manga, high school student Amano Yukiteru is a boy who has problem making friends. He thinks of himself as a bystander and will always write down everything he sees in a cell phone diary. Tormented by solitude, Yukiteru began to imagine things like a friend called Deus Ex Machina who is apparently the Lord of Time and Space. Seeing Yukiteru's miserable state, Deus gives him a new ability. His diary will now record events that will happen in the near future...
Naoto Hosoda is directing the anime at the anime studio asread. Katsuhiko Takayama is supervising the series scripts, and Hidetsugu Hirayama is designing the characters with Ruriko Watanabe. The cast is as follows:

Mai Aizawa as Minene Uryū
Manami Honda as Muru-Muru
Anime on Demand described the series as "a beautiful mix of Death Note meets Battle Royale."
