Cardfight!! Vanguard Anime Gets 2nd Season

The card game maker Bushiroad announced on Thursday that production on a second season of the Cardfight!! Vanguard anime has been green-lit. Bushiroad also announced during its "Cardfight!! Vanguard & Milky Holmes Press Conference (Winter)" that the anime's fifth ending theme will be performed by the Milky Holmes cast. The theme will run on Cardfight!! Vanguard from January to March. Bushiroad showed new rough conceptual art that original creator Akira Itō drew for the main characters Aichi Sendō and Toshiki Kai.
To accompany the new anime, Bushiroad is releasing the sixth Booster Pack of cards and two new Trial Decks for Aichi and Kai.
Along with the card game that inspired it, the anime is a collaboration between Yu-Gi-Oh! R manga creator Akira Itō, the original Duel Masters technical advisor Satoshi Nakamura, and Bushiroad President Takaaki Kidani. The first season premiered in January of this year, and Crunchyroll has been streaming it into several countries as it airs in Japan.
