Extra Madman Acquisitions Announced in November Newsletter

Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere and Coicent / Five Numbers! listed with Supanova Brisbane announcements; more announcements coming tomorrow

Madman Entertainment listed Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere and Coicent / Five Numbers! in its November newsletter alongside titles it announced during its panel at this year's second Supanova Brisbane.

Coicent and Five Numbers! are separate OAVs, originally released in a set by Sentai Filmworks in North America. Both OAVs were produced by Sunrise and are set in the future, but have vastly different stories, settings, art and production staff.

Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere is a new Sunrise television series broadcasting in Japan since last month. A complicated series of events leaves humanity living on city ships and warring over Japan, the only inhabitable land left on Earth. Civilisation follows instructions given by a mysterious artifact called the Testament, hoping to 'return to paradise'. But the Testament gives no further instructions after the year 1648, and amidst rumours of a second Armageddon, a group of young soldiers on a city ship named Musashi will attempt to reconquer Japan.

The full list of acquisitions includes Broken Blade, The World God Only Knows, .hack//Quantum, Squid Girl and Mardock Scramble. Madman has hinted it will reveal a '"very long" list of new acquisitions tomorrow, December 1, on its blog.
