Transformers: Japanese Collection Slated for January in U.S.

The Shout! Factory entertainment company has rescheduled the Transformers: The Japanese Collection box set for January 10, 2012 in the United States. The English-subtitled set contains three series that aired first in Japan: Transformers: The Headmasters, Transformers: Super God Masterforce, and Transformers: Victory.
Shout! Factory had revealed in April after soliciting Transformers: The Headmasters DVD set that it had the rights for all three series, but it has since delayed the three-series collection several times. The 13-DVD set with a bonus lithograph will be available only at Shout! Factory's online store for US$89.99.
