A-1 Pictures anime, manga, 3DS game tied to 2012 game with transforming robots

The game developer Square Enix began streaming two Jump Festa trailers for the Chō Soku Henkei Gyrozetter (Super High-Speed Transforming Gyrozetter) arcade game and television anime on their official website on Monday. The arcade card game trailer includes battle sequences and demonstrates the transformation abilities of the title's trademark car robots. The anime trailer introduces the action story's main characters and scenario.

The team behind the Dragon Quest: Monster Battle Road game, led by Ryūtarō Ichimura (Dragon Quest VIII, Dragon Quest IX), is developing the arcade game while A-1 Pictures is producing the television anime series. The mechanical designers include Junya Ishigaki, Shōji Kawamori, Kanetake Ebikawa, Naohiro Washio, Shinobu Tsuneki, Fumihiro Katagai, Ryō Hirata, and others. Naoki Satō (Eureka Seven, various Precure projects, Blood-C) is composing the music, and Hiroshi Kaieda is designing the characters. Robot Studio is planning and programming the game with graphic card design by Kai Graphics.

A Chō Soku Henkei Gyrozetter manga series debuted in the first monthly issue of Shueisha's Saikyō Jump magazine on December 3. The anime will premiere next year, and development on a video game for the Nintendo 3DS handheld system has been green-lit. Toys, card supplies, gadgets, and other tie-in projects are also planned. The Mazda, Mitsubishi, Mitsuoka, Nissan, Subaru, and Toyota car makers are partnering with the production of the various media.
