Free London Steamboy Screening April 1 (Updated)

Limited places at Loughborough Junction event held by Mayamada clothing brand.

Update - This event is now sold out, according to the website.

There will be a free screening of Katsuhiro Ōtomo's steampunk science-fiction epic Steamboy (set in Victorian England) on Sunday April 1. There will also be free popcorn and drinks at the bar. The venue is London's Whirled Art cinema at Loughborough Junction (map). The closest stations are Loughborough Junction (overground) and Brixton (underground). The complete event will run from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Places can be registered at this page but the tickets are limited. As of the morning of Sunday March 11, there were 33 tickets remaining, according to the website.

The event is presented by the Mayamada clothing brand, which features Japanese-inspired pictures of animal characters working in TV. Mayamade also has a facebook page.
