Weekend Wrapup: 24/Jun - 30/Jun

This week more Osamu Tezuka manga to be published, Pokémon has amazing sales figures and Madman Entertainment announced several new titles.

According to the creator of Naruto, Masashi Kishimoto, the manga is "rising towards it's climax" at it's current point. The statement was published in the Asahi Shimbun paper and Masashi Kishimoto added "How the story will end has already been set in my mind, so the story is just 'racing headlong in that direction.'"

Madman Entertainment announced four new titles at Supanova Expo Perth 2012. These titles include Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt, Is This a Zombie?, Infinite Stratos and Majikoi - Oh! Samurai Girls!. Majikoi - Oh! Samurai Girls! will possibly be added to the Madman Screening Room at a later date.

Enterbrain's Famitsu.com has reported that Nintendo's Pokémon Black 2 and Pokémon White 2 have collectively sold over 1.6 million copies on launch weekend. No release date for Pokémon Black Version 2 and Pokémon White Version 2 has been set for Australia.

And last of all, Digital Manga's Kickstarter to publish Osamu Tezuka's Unico has managed to reach it's first additional funding goal (stretch goal) and will now publish Osamu Tezuka's Atomcat alongside Unico. A new stretch goal has been added and now Osamu Tezuka's Triton of the Sea will be published if the Kickstarter reaches $47,000.
