Studio Trigger, Evangelion's Yoko Takahashi Work on Project X Zone Opening

Namco x CAPCOM, Fighting Vipers, Mega Man Legends, Devil May Cry, God Eater characters join SRPG

Project X Zone, the Nintendo 3DS simulation role-playing game with characters from CAPCOM, Sega, and Namco Bandai Games, will feature an opening sequence animated by the new Studio Trigger and the opening theme song "Wind Wanderer" by Yoko Takahashi (Evangelion). Famitsu is currently hosting more images of the sequence in higher resolution on its website.

In addition, Famitsu has revealed more characters that will join the game, including Reiji Arisu and Xiaomu from Namco × CAPCOM, Bahn from Fighting Vipers, Tron Bonne from Mega Man Legends (Rockman Dash), Lady from Devil May Cry, and Rindō Amamiya from God Eater.

Project X Zone will ship in Japan on October 11 on the Nintendo 3DS handheld console.

Trigger co-founder Hiroyuki Imaishi (Dead Leaves, Gurren Lagann, Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt), then working at Gainax, directed the Namco × CAPCOM opening at Production I.G. Thanks braves.
