New main lead in 2nd series inspired by Cross Fight relaunch of marble-shooting toys

Cross Fight B-Daman eS, the second Cross Fight B-Daman anime series based on the B-Daman marble-shooting toy franchise, will premiere on October 7 at 8:45 a.m. on TV Tokyo.

The new anime takes place in "Crest Land," where the mysterious "B-Crystal" has started to go berserk. The main protagonist Kamon Godai lives in the south area of Crest Land, and is an energetic boy who loves B-Daman. However, he lost his all past memories of B-Daman and his family, except for his big sister Aona who lives with him. One day, Kamon meets Galvan, a B-Daman at his local B-Daman shop, "B-Junk," and he finds Galvan strangely familiar. Galvan becomes his partner, and he returns to the B-Daman battles once again.

The original B-Daman game sold over 80 million units in 30 regions worldwide in its lifespan. In 2004, Hasbro, Fox Entertainment Group, and Atlus USA brought the toys, anime, and games (respectively) to the United States. The B-Legend! Battle Bedaman series aired on Cartoon Network, Toon Disney, and G4. The series also aired in at least 10 other countries around the world, including the United Kingdom, Canada, India, Germany, Ecuador, and the Philippines.

The first anime in the Cross Fight B-Daman relaunch premiered in Japan last October.
