Fantasista Doll Anime Slated to Air in July

An official website for the Fantasista Doll television anime launched on Saturday and revealed that the series will premiere in Japan in July. The website also revealed that a manga with character designs by Anmi debuted in the April issue of Kadokawa Shoten's Newtype Ace magazine on Saturday.
Goro Taniguchi (Code Geass, s-CRY-ed) will not direct this project, but he will serve as creative producer with the actual director, Hisashi Saito (Haganai, Heaven's Lost Property). An interview with Taniguchi appears on the Fantasista Doll website.
The science-fiction story revolves around "dolls" who fight and power up with special cards.
