The North American publisher Dark Horse Comics announced at Sakura-Con on Friday that it will release Hideki Mori and Kazuo Koike's New Lone Wolf and Cub (Shin Kozure Ōkami) manga, KEI's Hatsune Miku: Unofficial Hatsune Mix (Maker Hikōshiki: Hatsune Mix) manga, and The Art of Katsuya Terada artbook. The first volumes of New Lone Wolf and Cub and Hatsune Miku: Unofficial Hatsune Mix are due out early next year.

Dark Horse Comics also revealed that volume 14 of Eiji Ohtsuka and Hosui Yamazaki's The Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Service manga has been approved for a December release. Dark Horse released the manga's 13th volume last year. Additionally, Dark Horse revealed that its two longest-running manga titles, Kosuke Fujishima's Oh My Goddess! and Hiroaki Samura's Blade of the Immortal, will be available on Dark Horse Digital starting in April. The releases will mark Dark Horse's first digital titles with the publisher Kodansha.

Shogakukan published the 11-volume New Lone Wolf and Cub series between 2004-2007. The story picks up where Koike and Goseki Kojima's Lone Wolf and Cub series left off, with Daigoro after Itto Ogami's final showdown. Dark Horse originally announced that it had licensed the sequel title at New York Comic Con in 2006. Mori and Koike have also created the Soshite Kozure Ōkami: Shikaku no Ko sequel series to New Lone Wolf and Cub, which ran in the short-lived Jin historical manga magazine in 2007-2008, and it then moved to the Katana web magazine in 2009.

KEI is the original character designer for the Voicaloid idol Hatsune Miku, and the Hatsune Miku: Unofficial Hatsune Mix manga will include many color illustrations. KEI launched the manga in Jive's Comic Rush magazine in 2007, and Jive has published three compiled volumes.

The Art of Katsuya Terada will include commentary by the artist himself. Terada is known for his work as the original character designer for Blood: The Last Vampire, and as the creator of The Monkey King manga series, which Dark Horse publishes in North America. Terada recently resumed The Monkey King for a short run earlier this month.

Update: Dark Horse confirmed with ANN that The Art of Katsuya Terada will also ship early next year, and that due to licensing issues, Dark Horse had to delay New Lone Wolf and Cub after originally announcing the license in 2006.
