Uta no Prince-sama - Maji Love 2000% Ending Sells 50,845 to Rank #3

Franchise's 1st single to sell 50,000+ in 1st week; 2nd single in a row to rank #3
"Maji Love 2000%," the ending theme song for the Uta no Prince-sama - Maji Love 2000% television anime, sold 50,845 copies to rank #3 on Oricon's CD singles sales chart for the April 22-28 week. ST☆RISH, the group composed of the anime's budding idol characters (as voiced by the lead voice actors), sang the song. The CD single also contains the anime's insert song "Yume Oibito e no Symphony."
The single is the first one in the franchise to sell more than 50,000 copies in its first week. Voice actor/singer Mamoru Miyano's single "Kanon" — the opening theme for the same anime series — sold 28,360 copies to also rank #3 during its first week.
