20th Century Boys' Urasawa Draws 'Kaijū Ōkoku' Manga 1-Shot

This year's 15th issue of Shogakukan's Big Comic magazine announced this week that Naoki Urasawa (20th Century Boys, Monster, Yawara! A Fashionable Judo Girl) will publish his first "monster manga," titled "Kaijū Ōkoku" (Monster Kingdom). The 41-page one-shot manga will run in the next issue on August 10 to mark the magazine's 45th anniversary. In this story "full of dreams, wishes, and courage," Japan has become the world's #1 tourism nation by cashing in on some of its best-known assets.
